  1. The NZF isn’t so much a plant as a work of Art! It looks like a beautiful sculpture, fabulous colours – and so well photographed.

  2. Yes, it is a beautiful sculpture! It’s funny you should say that because the groundskeeper was going to cut them down and I stopped her. I asked her to wait and see what came next and am I glad I did. They look like dried up brown Bird of Paradise before the large ‘pods’ open up and all the blooms spring out. In full bloom it is just amazing.
